Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

• 1.1 Bookings must be made through our website, email, or phone.
• 1.2 Payments can be made via Credit/Debit Card or Instant EFT (only SA account).
• 1.3 A booking is only confirmed once proof of payment is received.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 2.1 Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour.
• 2.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour are non-refundable.
• 2.3 "No-show" guests will be charged the full tour amount.
• 2.4 If Urban Explorer Tours cancels due to weather, safety, or operational reasons, guests may choose between:
  • A full refund, or
  • A free reschedule

3. Changes to Bookings

• 3.1 Date changes are allowed up to 24 hours before the tour, subject to availability.
• 3.2 Activity changes may affect the final price.

4. Weather Conditions

• 4.1 Some activities (e.g., Cape Point visits, Table Mountain cableway) are weather-sensitive.
• 4.2 If weather prevents an activity, Urban Explorer Tours will offer an alternative or reschedule.

5. Safety & Liability

• 5.1 All guests participate in activities at their own risk.
• 5.2 Guests must follow safety instructions provided by guides and activity partners.
• 5.3 Urban Explorer Tours is not liable for injury, loss, damage, or delays caused by:
  • Weather
  • Traffic
  • Third-party operators
  • Accidents due to guest negligence

6. Third-Party Activities

• 6.1 Some activities are operated by certified partners (e.g., quad biking providers).
• 6.2 Guests must comply with the rules of each activity provider.
• 6.3 Any equipment damage caused by a guest will be charged to that guest.

7. Transportation

• 7.1 Transport will be provided by Urban Explorer Tours.
• 7.2 All vehicles are licensed and insured according to South African law.

8. Children Policy

• 8.1 Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• 8.2 Certain activities (e.g., quad biking) may have age/height restrictions.

9. Medical Conditions

• 9.1 Guests with medical conditions must inform the guide before participating.
• 9.2 Pregnant guests may be restricted from certain activities for safety reasons.

10. Personal Belongings

• 10.1 Urban Explorer Tours is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
• 10.2 Guests must ensure valuables are kept secure at all times.

11. Photography & Media

• 11.1 Guides may take photos/videos to enhance your experience.
• 11.2 Guests may request not to be photographed.
• 11.3 Urban Explorer Tours may share general tour content on social media unless a guest requests otherwise.

12. Agreement

By booking a tour, guests agree to all terms and conditions listed above.
